Skoal Outlaw Series Postpones Ransomville Event RANSOMVILLE, NY (June 6) - A thunderstorm hit Ransomville Speedway following the qualifying session Thursday night, forcing Skoal Outlaw Series officials to postpone the race. The $34,485 event has been re-scheduled for Monday, July 29th. The World of Outlaws will take several days off before starting a four-race swing through the Midwest at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO, Wednesday. Kokomo Speedway and Bloomington Speedway are scheduled to host the national sprint car series Thursday and Friday, respectively, before the mini-tour climaxes at Eldora Speedway Saturday. CBS Sports will capture the action from Eldora and beam it into homes across the county Sunday afternoon from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. (EDT) on its CBS Sports Show. CBS Sports announcers Ken Squier and Dr. Dick Berggren will describe the action. Squier has been the voice of Daytona 500 for more than 25 years, while Berggren is the editor of Stock Car Racing and Open Wheel magazines. Eric Mann of CBS Sports will produce the telecast. WoO
