"It's nice to come out here and get a win--they've got some of the best racers in the country out here. I wish I could have run as good as Lucas Wolfe when I was his age. He's going to be great when he gets some more laps. We had a little problem on that first restart--the motor wouldn't take off, and I had to play it cautious and pretty much run the bottom from there, and I guess it almost bit me on the last lap. I could hear someone up there on the top. I know you can't do anything about the hurricanes and all the rain they've had here. I'm just glad we got this one in and didn't have to deal with a rough track. It was actually better than I expected--the track started to widen out, and I knew Lucas was up there running the top. It sure feels like we're just getting going. We usually run pretty well out here, but we came out here in the spring and broke, and broke again in the summer. . .we've had a rough year. We're pretty far back of Steve (Kinser) and Danny (Lasoski) in the points, so we're just going to try to get some more wins before the year's over."
