SARVER, PA (June 6) -- Continuing rain forced Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series officials to cancel Wednesday's rain-delayed event at Lernerville Speedway.

Four hours of steady afternoon showers made the semi-banked, 1/2- mile oval unsafe for racing.

The premier sprint car racing series will return to Lernerville Speedway for the 10th Annual Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup July 24th and a $51,600 event September 25th.

The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series will sanction the Second Annual CHANNELLOCK Challenge at Bristol Friday and Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway. TNN: The National Network will televise both racing programs, beginning at 9 p.m. (EDT).
