Steve Francis remains on top of World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship point standings after double 7th place finishes

(Ashland, KY) Mopar and Valvoline lead foot, Steve Francis stayed atop the World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship point standings this past weekend after posting 7th place finishes at Hagerstown (MD) Speedway and Potomac (MD) Speedway and a 2nd place finish at Delaware Speedway.

Preceding Francis' double 7 place finishes, the Kentucky Colonel placed 2nd at Outlaw Motor Speedway in the Moring Motorsports Valvoline and Mopar sponsored Freeport Recycling Centers Dodge. This was Steve's second straight top-3 finish at Outlaw Motor Speedway.

Francis has 8 top- 10 finishes in the last 10 WoO Late Model Series

Steve competed in two 2004 UMP Summernationals events at Farley Speedway with a 6th place finish and at 34 Speedway with a 14th place finish.

This is Francis' second week leading the World of Outlaws Late Model Series point standings.
