Henderson ready to drive into Victory Lane.

Iola, KS (March 10th, 2007) Everyone has at one time or the other heard of the sophomore slump, well apparently Justin Henderson has not. The young handsome always smiling Henderson is running up front and threatening for his first ever World of Outlaws win. In Phoenix last Saturday night the 30-lap contest began with Henderson in his Jolt Energy Gum/Stage 8 Locking Fasteners Rocket Chassis #D1 powering his way around polesitter Paul McMahan on the opening circuit exiting the second turn. He began to pull away before encountering lapped traffic, which helped Schatz close the gap.

On the 13th go-around, with his left rear tire blistering Henderson gave up the lead to eventual winner Donny Schatz who shot to the high side of Henderson and took the lead. Henderson would be very careful to conserve his tire and finish a very strong 7th. A strong message however was sent that Henderson and his team are going to be contenders each and every time they take to the track.

"We had them covered at Manzanita." said Henderson. "The left tire just started to go on us. We had to change rear ends between the dash and feature and that left us without getting a good set up and that hurt the left rear. That win is right there for the taking and it is going to come very soon."
