LOCAL POSSE PUTS BOUNTY ON OUTLAWS' SCHATZ FOR THE 2ND ANNUAL THUNDER AT THE HEARTLAND SHOOTOUT

TOPEKA, KS. (FEB. 29, 2008) - In an attempt to snap the winning streak of two-time defending Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws (WoO) champion Donny Schatz at Heartland Park Topeka, the local posse in Topeka put out a $1,000.00 bounty for any driver that can defeat Schatz in the 2nd Annual Thunder at the Heartland Shootout on September 13th.

Donny Schatz will drive Tony Stewart Racing's Armor All/Chevy/Parkerstore J&J No. 15 against the premiere sprint car drivers in the world at Heartland Park Topeka's permanent 3/8 mile banked dirt track this fall. Schatz, the 2006 and 2007 WoO champion, was the first driver to win at the track in 2001 and followed that up with his victory at the inaugural Thunder at the Heartland Shootout last September.

"We are excited to be coming back to Heartland Park Topeka with some added incentive," said Schatz. "The goal for our Armor All team is to be the guy to beat every night and when you throw in a bounty that makes things even more interesting. We're going to come there ready to chase another victory and hopefully stop someone from getting a little extra money. It's a really nice facility where we've had some success, and we like putting on a good show for the great racing fans in the area."
