TIFFIN, OH (Oct. 11)-The Gumout Series held its inaugural event at Lernerville Speedway on April 14th. Now, exactly six months later, the series is holding its season finale at the Terre Haute Action Track this Saturday, October 14th.

Going into the last race of the season, Craig Dollansky holds the point lead by a mere 64 points over second-running Paul McMahan. Jeff Shepard is now third, trailing Dollansky by 75 points. All three competitors have the ability to win the first-ever Gumout Racing Series Championship.

California's Jason Meyers has wrapped up the Brodix Rookie of the Year title. Meyers will finish the Gumout Racing Series season fourth in point standings. Meyers leads other Brodix Rookie of the Year contenders Brad Furr, Ronald Laney, Jimmy Carter, and Kraig Kinser.

The Gumout Racing Series previously appeared at the Terre Haute Action Track on June 30th. Jeff Shepard and Craig Dollansky battled throughout the "A" Feature with Dollansky finally taking home the win.
