World of Outlaws: Goodyear's recent dominance in this series continued as Jeff Shepard won his first career A Main victory and Tim Shaffer won another event. The same pair took two of the first four finishing positions in the week's only other race.

That performance gave Team Goodyear five wins in six nights of racing over a two-week span.

Shepard's victory came at Central State Fair Speedway in Yakima, Wash. He said, "We just got a bunch of new people who started helping on the car last week and Wirtgen and Goodyear tires just everybody's been so great. This is awesome."

Shepard nearly won the next main event, a Preliminary Main event at Portland Speedway in Portland, Ore. He led the next to last lap before losing by .09 of a second. Shaffer finished fourth.

The two dominated the next night's competition at Portland. Shepard led the first 23 laps before an accident knocked him out of the event. But Shaffer grabbed the lead with slightly more than three laps to go and held on to win.
