Countdown to the Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom's Snacks: 4 Days

Concord, NC-October 31, 2010- The Fourth Annual Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom's Snacks at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina is quickly approaching, November 4-6 for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, along with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. In the 15 days leading up to the three-day action packed season ender, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers will share their thoughts on what has become one of the "Must See" marquee events of the year.

Next up is Joey Saldana, who won the finale of the World Finals last season to score his 20th A-Feature win of the season to become just the fifth driver in World of Outlaws history to accomplish that feat. The second generation driver, who has raced in each of the first three World Finals, is one of just two drivers that has competed in all 24 previous World of Outlaws events at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. He has two wins at the track in his career to go along with 15 Top-10 finishes. Saldana, who leads the World of Outlaws with 13 A-Feature wins this season, ran second at Charlotte earlier this season in what is a home race for his team, Kasey Kahne Racing, which is based just down the road in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Joey Saldana, Driver of the No. 9 Budweiser Maxim:

"We'll go there and try to get two wins and just try to finish the year on a good note and work on next year. I'm a race fan so I enjoy racing in general. The way that we pit there, you can go and watch and enjoy all of the racing. It's neat to be able to go there and watch racing that you normally don't get to see, especially those types of cars with the Late Models and Big Block Modifieds. They are so much different than what we race and they are the best in the business. It's going to be pretty entertaining and I'm looking forward to that."

The finale of the World Finals will air live on SPEED on Saturday, November 6 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, with Bobby Gerould on the call with Hall of Famer Brad Doty offering expert analysis.
