Countdown to the Outlaws World Finals: 12 Days

The World of Outlaws have competed a total of 15 times at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway dating back to 2000. For each of the 15 days leading up to the inaugural Outlaws World Finals, each of those 15 events will be recounted, culminating with the opening night of inaugural Outlaws World Finals on November 1 at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Today will focus on the fourth of those 15 events that was contested on October 6, 2000.

For the second time during the 2000, season, Mark Kinser claimed the $20,000 top prize at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway. He took the lead from his cousin Steve Kinser on the 20th lap, with Steve retaking the lead on lap 31, with Mark making the pass for the win on the 37th circuit.

Donny Schatz was third, with Craig Dollansky fifth, Joey Saldana sixth, Paul McMahan seventh, and Danny Lasoski ninth.

Current World of Outlaws drivers that competed in the event included: Tim Shaffer, Daryn Pittman, Jac Haudenschild, Randy Hannagan and Jason Meyers.

The inaugural Outlaws World Finals featuring the World of Outlaws and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series are set for November 1-3, with the finale of the event set to be broadcast LIVE on SPEED on November 3 from 8-11 p.m. Eastern.
