WEC Sao Paulo Hour Four recap

Toyota has taken control of the race as we race towards the end.

Porsche no longer holds onto the top spot with just two hours remaining at Interlagos. The No. 14 Porsche trails the No. 8 Toyota by 3.5 seconds now, as the second Toyota Hybrid moves into third place.

After 44 minutes, the No. 61 returned to the race after Emerson Fittipaldi took it to the garage with issues. The curse of the LMP2 leader continues with the No. 37 SMP Racing entry stalling, prompting a full course yellow. This returned command to KCMG, which now holds a massive five lap lead over closest pursuer.

The No. 7 Toyota and No. 20 Porsche are currently under investigation after a pass from Toyota driver Alex Wurz pushed both cars off the track.

Porsche Team Manthey still fends off the assault from Astons and Ferraris to led GTE Pro as Aston's No. 98 holds GTE Am in hand. Two Astons collided early in the hour, causing the No. 99 to spin off the door of his teammate.
