The French racer will compete in the opening two rounds of the 2015 WEC season.
Former IndyCar driver Tristan Vautier will make his WEC debut with the SARD-Morand LMP2 team in the season-opening Six Hours of Silverstone, as well as Spa. He will join Oliver Webb and Pierre Ragues behind the wheel of the No. 43 car.
Vautier ran four TUDOR United SportsCar Championship races last year, taking part in the North American Endurance Cup with the SpeedSource Mazda prototype team.
"It is an honour to join Team SARD MORAND for these two events and to compete in my very first FIA WEC races," said Vautier. "I would like to thank Benoit and his partners for this opportunity. With Oliver and Pierre we have a very good line-up and and I am looking forward to starting work with the whole team.”
