Nelson Panciatici has been retained by Signatech-Alpine for the 2016 season and will race for the Baxi DC Racing Alpine squad.
Panciatici, 27, will partner David Cheng and Ho-Pin Tung in the #35 Alpine A460 - Nissan in the LMP2 category of WEC.
The Frenchman has been part of Signatech set-up since 2012 and has taken two European Le Mans Series titles with the team.
"We are delighted to continue the adventure with Nelson Panciatici," said team boss Philippe Sinault.
"A two-time ELMS champion with Signatech-Alpine, he will bring his experience and his speed in the collaboration with DC Racing."
Panciatici partnered Paul-Loup Chatin in the WEC LMP2 class last year, the duo taking a win in the Shanghai race.
"I also express our regret at not being able to keep Chatin with us in 2016," Sinault added. "He has contributed greatly to the project and to the sporting results of the last two seasons.
"The decision was difficult to take but we aim to be able to work with him because he is part of the Alpine family."
Meanwhile, as Motorsport.com reported earlier on Friday, ex-GP2 racer Stephane Richelmi has been confirmed alongside Nicolas Lapierre and Gustavo Menezes in the #36 entry.
