The six drivers that will pilot Porsche's LMP1 cars in 2015 have been officially announced.
Porsche has confirmed what six drivers will pilot their cars in the upcoming WEC season. The lineup will not change despite rumors that an outgoing Jenson Button would swap his McLaren F1 for a Porsche LMP1. So we'll see Bernhard, Webber, Lieb, Dumas, Jani, and Hartley all return in 2015.
The team is still mum on details regarding a potential third car for Le Mans though, which could open the door for a one-off appearance should Button lose his place in Formula One.
Porsche's comeback to the pinnacle of endurance racing has been sluggish, failing to win between their two entires thus far. Both Audi and Toyota have shown better pace throughout 2014. Porsche's best result this season is third, three times.
