The workshops are on the same estate as the Barwell Motorsport outfit, which will provide logistical support for ESM throughout the early stages of the season.

About to embark on a gruelling seven-month world tour in the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship, the team begin its biggest sporting and logistical campaign ever.

ESM will enter two of the faithful HPD ARX-03b LMP2 cars for Silverstone this weekend before aiming to debut two new Ligier JS P2 chassis' for the second round at Spa next month.

"It was a pretty crazy last few weeks for us but the team (which stayed on in Europe after Ricard) has been superb," said Ed Brown.

"We left very soon after Sebring last month to travel to Silverstone where Scott (Sharp) and I drove a Radical to learn the circuit as much as we could. Then we went straight to Paul Ricard for the Prologue test."

Brown and Sharp sample Ligier at Ricard

Brown and Sharp sampled the Oak Racing run Ligier JS P2 at Paul Ricard on the Saturday and completing a handful of laps.

ESM was forced to purchase the Onroak Automotive-built LMP2 Ligier chassis' for the majority of their 2015 campaign after the new HPD ARX-04b LMP2 coupe suffered early development problems and was effectively withdrawn to undergo further enhancements prior to homologation.

"Everything seems like it is on plan and on schedule for Spa," Brown told Motorsport.com. "We will try and do a shakedown of the Ligier the weekend or week before going to Belgium."

"We just want to get some points from the first two races. We are a little behind the eight-ball after the issues with our original car.

"We wanted to come and race from the start of the season because we want to compete against the best teams and drivers in the world and that is what we are doing. It'll be fun."
