The #95 Aston Martin Vantage GTE of Danish trio Christoffer Nygaard, Kristian Poulsen and Nicki Thiim, set the second fastest time in today’s qualifying session, less than a thousandth of a second off the lead #61 car. However, the pole sitter was later disqualified after failing scrutineering.

The result means that Aston Martin Racing will start both GT class from the front of the grid following an impressive qualifying session from Pedro Lamy (PT) and Richie Stanaway (NZ) who put the #98 Vantage GTE on pole in the GTE Pro class.
