Sept. 19-21, 2003 -- Goodyear dominates the 40th running of the Sports Car Club of America's Valvoline Runoffs. Goodyear-equipped cars win 15 of 24 races, record 40 podium finishes and sweep the podium six times.

Sept. 20, 1997 -- John Paul Jr. and Butch Leitzinger win the World Sportscar Championship race on an infield course at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Their Riley&Scott wins the two-hour race by 13.23 seconds.
