FOUR of Australia's most talented "Young Gun" drivers will have a chance to showcase their talents on an international stage when the Cleanevent Nations Cup takes to the track at the Qantas Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne tomorrow.
Matthew Coleman (27), Cameron McConville (27), Mark Noske (25) and Paul Stokell (30) are part of a record entry for races tomorow, Friday and Saturday on the Albert Park grand prix circuit.

The arrival of Coleman and McConville - both former members of the official Audi Super Touring team in Australia - to join established Nations Cup stars Stokell and Noske promises to raise the intensity of competition between the young brigade and the highly-experienced drivers such as Jim Richards, Peter Fitzgerald, Geoff Morgan and Rusty French.

Noske, McConville and the record six other Ferrari drivers in their Prancing Horse Racing team hope the introduction of rolling starts for the first time will make it easier to get among the leading pack in the Cleanevent Nations Cup. The Ferrari's Formula One-style clutch-less gearshift is not suited to the usual standing start and the rolling starts are intended to eliminate the disadvantage.
American muscle also is set to feature at Albert Park, with the the eight-litre Chrysler Viper ACR coupes of Geoff Morgan, Rusty French, Darcy Russell and Mike Conway expecting extra performance after major off-season upgrades, including Le Mans-style aerodynamic bodywork, V8 Supercar brakes and transmissions and weight reductions.
"I'm really looking forward to my first race in the Ferrari. It's an awesome car, but very difficult to get the last little bit from," McConville said today.
"Competing against makes like Lamborghini, Porsche, Viper, Corvette, Honda and others will be very exciting and it promises a fantastic spectacle for the grand prix patrons.
"The Young Guns will definitely bring more competition to the front of the field, although the stagers like Richards and Fitzgerald will always be hard to beat."
