Jason Bargwanna
"Throughout the sessions the most important thing was to get heat into the brakes, tyres and everything in the car.

"One of the most pleasing things is the fact that it wasn't just one quick lap that I put in, the car has been very consistent all day.

"The car didn't feel anything special, it was a bit of a handful to drive, but so is everything in this weather.

"In the shootout I pushed a little hard in the early part of the lap costing me time, we are however still in a good position for tomorrow's race.

Mark Winterbottom
"During the opening two practice sessions I had a couple of offs which cost me a lot of track time which is so important in these conditions.

"It is only the second real day I have driven a V8 Supercar in the wet, I am feeling more comfortable in the car every lap and my improving times are showing this.

"Experience driving a V8 Supercar in these conditions are so vitally important, it counts for so much.

"With all of the red flags I couldn't really get a good clean lap in when everything was working at a decent temperature.

"Tomorrow is a long race and it is a case of simply keeping it on the island and staying out of trouble, I know that the car will be very consistent."

Mark Larkham
"I am pleased with the speed that is shown by Bargs but more importantly the consistency that he has showed all throughout the day.

"We were chasing the set up a little bit during the first session yesterday but made some changes to improve both cars overnight and the results showed today.

"Frosty has certainly recovered well after his off this morning which cost him a lot of track time, I am confident he will figure prominently tomorrow."

The action continues with a morning warm up followed by the 100-lap race around the 3.0 kilometre circuit beginning at 1:00pm
