The brand new Walkinshaw Andretti United alliance has unveiled the logo it will race under in Supercars next season.

WAU will debut in the Aussie Touring Car series next season following a much-publicised ownership share between Walkinshaw Racing owner Ryan Walkinshaw, Michael Andretti, and Zak Brown’s United Autosports.

The new logo is a composite of all three identities, incorporating a helmet – which has strong links to both the traditional Walkinshaw and Andretti branding – and the shield and colour scheme from United.

The three stars represent the coming together of the three organisations.

“Our three teams have pulled together to create this new logo and I think it has come out fantastic,” said Michael Andretti, who owns an equal majority share along with Walkinshaw.

“We dug deep to identify what best represents not just the new team, but each individual party as well.

“I’m so proud to have the Andretti Autosport brand represented alongside our new Supercars partners and can’t wait for 2018.”
