Van Gisbergen goes in search of the weekend sweep after Race Two triumph

Shane Van Gisbergen can not be stopped.

At the start of the race, they went four wide off into turn one in slick conditions. They somehow made it work and the victor from the first race, Shane Van Gisbergen, emerged out in front.

Scott McLaughlin then a right rear wheel soon after as his Volvo teammate Robert Dahlgreen lost control and crashed, warranting a safety car. The race was slowed later on when Scott Pye found himself in the gravel.

This race was basically the same story, second verse as Van Gisbergen put on a dominating performance once more, just ahead of Chaz Mostert and Jamie Whincup. They were followed by Jason Bright, Will Davison, James Moffat, Fabian Coulthard, James Courtney, Rick Kelly, and Russell Ingall.
