Team Betta Electrical at it's best for tomorrows big race.

Both Team Betta Electrical cars 65 and 66 are well prepared for tomorrows Bob Jane T-Mart 1000 race.

Today's top 15 shootout saw Max Wilson in car 65 post a time of 2:11.12 placing him in fourteenth position on the grid for tomorrows race.

Wilson was looking good initially with the split time, however Wilson went into the last corner before Conrod straight too fast and lost a second whilst regaining control and was unable to make-up the time before crossing the line.

It was just one of those things said Wilson, I was trying too hard and the Mountain is unforgiving in that respect, he said.

Both Dean Canto and Wilson team-up in car 65 for tomorrows race. Longhurst and White will team-up in car 66, with drivers quietly confident of stroking the cars home around the 160 laps to a podium finish tomorrow.

The drivers are pleased with the handling of the cars, with Longhurst saying it is the best preparation yet seen for the Team Betta Electrical cars.

Mathew White was also campaigning another car in the Konica Series today finishing third in today's race. White commented he was pleased to be able to gain the valuable experience in negotiating the 6.213 km circuit for tomorrows 100 km race.
