Super Black reveals new livery for 2016

The Super Black Racing Ford FG X Falcon will have a new look for the upcoming 2016 season.

The Ice Break Iced Coffee livery will be featured throughout the upcoming V8 Supercars season. The company is following Chris Pither to the organization, who has had a relationship with Ice Break for six years.

“It’s great to continue our relationship with Chris as we enter the main game for the first time. He’s a brilliant ambassador for our brand on both sides of the Tasman and obviously a very talented driver," said Ice Break’s Kellie Green.

"Chris is down to earth, hardworking and has a great attitude which he has proved to us time and time again, both on and off the track. We are thrilled to support Chris and Super Black on this next chapter of his racing career. It’s exciting times for Ice Break and we are looking forward to the start of the 2016 season.”

Super Black will run underneath the Prodrive Racing Australia banner in 2016. Pither contested the final round of 2015 with the team, finishing as high as 18th in Race 35.

"I’m very fortunate to have had the support of the Ice Break brand since 2010," Pither was quoted as saying in a team release. "They have been an integral part of my racing career since then and it’s fantastic they are taking the next step on the journey alongside myself and Super Black Racing. It’s an understatement to say we are excited and looking forward to the new season."
