CAMS STEWARDS FIND DUMBRELL GUILTY OF RECKLESS DRIVING

Paul Dumbrell was tonight found guilty of reckless driving by CAMS Stewards at a hearing at the CAMS National Office in Melbourne.

The Stewards imposed a penalty of a fine of $15,000 and a deduction of 75 Championship points.

The reckless driving charge was brought against Dumbrell for his part in an incident during round two of the V8 Supercar Championship Series at Pukekohe, New Zealand, involving Craig Baird, which resulted in race three being red flagged.

The CAMS Stewards Panel was chaired by Chief V8 Supercar Steward, Steve Chopping, along with Peter Drew and Terry Wade.
