Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks series has added an extra event to its Australian swing, signing on as a support category for the season-closing V8 Supercars round in Sydney.
The Homebush event will mark the third time the trucks have raced at a V8s event this year, having debuted at the Clipsal 500 at the beginning of the season before putting on a high-flying display at the Gold Coast 600 last month.
“They were a big hit with fans on the streets of Adelaide and the Gold Coast and I'm sure fans will be just as amazed to watch them in action on the streets of Sydney,” said V8 Supercars boss James Warburton.
“They are part of what promises to be an exciting finale to the 2015 V8 Supercars championship with great entertainment on and off track.”
The Super Trucks field includes the likes of Aussie stunt man Matt Mingay, Bathurst 1000 winner Paul Morris, and IndyCar up-and-comer Matt Brabham.
