Triple Eight Race Engineering have pulled out all stops in preparing both Team Betta Electrical BA Falcons for this weekends two 140 km race events in Round 8 of this years V8 Supercar Championship Series.

The entire team have been working non-stop since round 7 at Winton Motor Raceway three weeks ago to ensure both Paul Radisich and Max Wilson's racecars are both prepared and presented to the highest standard possible.

The team spent a full day testing both cars at Queensland Raceway recently, covering over 200 laps, whilst making adjustments to both cars in order to find the perfect balance and optimum speed advantage.

Campbell Little commenting - "I think the day has been the most productive test session we have yet experienced with the cars, it was most gratifying".

Max Wilson saying - "I am very impressed with the changes made to the car, it felt really good on the circuit and I posted some very quick times during the day".

Dean Canto, the teams second enduro driver for the 2004 season covered over 100 laps on the day, commenting the car is by far the best handling and most responsive he has driven to date. "I can't wait for the Betta Electrical Sandown 500 to roll around in September, I know we as a team will be very competitive indeed".

"The team has made so many advances this year with both engineering and design, they are light years ahead of last years models I raced in 2003".

"I believe the balance of this season will definitely see the Team Betta Electrical Fords amongst the front runners" - Canto concluded.

Paul Radisich in car # 88 and Max Wilson in car # 888 are eager to take their respective places on the grid this weekend for the two 140km races - Radisich is currently lying in 11th spot in on the championship ladder with 646 points whilst Max Wilson is further back in 24th.position with 504 points, however with six rounds still to run in this years championship anything can happen and as seen in the past - usually does occur!
