No stewards inquiry into Reynolds/Coulthard clash
There will be no official inquiry into the Fabian Coulthard/David Reynolds clash that led to Coulthard’s car rolling over at Pukekohe yesterday.

The pair tangled in the wake of a separate incident between Reynolds and Chaz Mostert, a recovering Reynolds and hard-charging Coulthard making contact and both ending up in the sand.
Coulthard's car then rolled over, the dramatic exit from the race seriously denting his hopes of securing a maiden Supercars title.
While Mostert put his hand up as the instigator of the original incident – and was penalised for it with a drivethrough penalty – both Reynolds and Coulthard offered differing opinions of the secondary contact yesterday evening.
At the request of Reynolds' Erebus crew the incident was investigated by the Deputy Race Director, who has since ruled that the matter won't be referred to the stewards.
"The request for investigation made by Erebus Motorsport V8 Trust into the Incident involving contact between Car #12, Fabian Coulthard, and Car #9, David Reynolds, at Turns 9-10 on the basis that neither Driver was wholly or predominately to blame for that Incident," read the stewards' report, under a list of matters investigated by the DRD but not referred to the stewards.
After an all-night effort from the DJR Team Penske crew, Coulthard's damaged Falcon is now repaired and ready for today's qualifying session and race.
The lack of spares brought across the ditch resulted in some hurdles during the repair, with the team needing to fuse an FG Falcon racecar roof panel sourced from former Supercars racer-turned NZ Touring Cars driver Jason Bargwanna with a panel from a Falcon road car.
