Nissan Motorsport has revealed its final livery change of the 2016 Supercars season, with Michael Caruso’s Altima to carry a genuine parts warning message.
The ‘Beware of Strangers’ livery is a unique encouragement for Nissan owners to use genuine parts, and its use in Sydney will kick-start a campaign that will be fully deployed in 2017.
“Genuine is best, and Nissan knows that better than anybody,” said Caruso, who is on track to finish as Nissan’s best driver of the 2016 season.
“It is a great time to bring to the track a livery that sends such a fantastic message to all of our fans, especially those who will be looking to get their Nissan checked before they start driving around in the holidays.
“Making sure you have the right parts in your car is incredibly important. This way, when you’ve got the family in the car this summer, you know that they are all safe and sound.”
Caruso currently sits eighth in the Supercars standings, 125 behind Chaz Mostert and 27 clear of Tim Slade.
