DJR Penske has unveiled a new deal in Shell Helix for the 2015 V8 Supercar season. Ambrose will showcase the new look in the Clipsal 500 as he prepares to return full-time to the series.
“It is a great honour to be representing Shell Helix and DJR Team Penske at our first race meeting this year in Adelaide," said driver Marcos Ambrose. "Dick and Roger both have incredible history with Shell and it is great to see the brand back in force on our Ford Falcon FG X."
A sponsor familiar to both Dick Johnson and Roger Penske
Dick Johnson spoke with great pride about his 30 year plus association with Shell. “Over the years we have enjoyed fantastic support and genuine friendship from many people at Shell and we look forward to continuing this relationship with the Shell brand through Viva Energy Australia,” Johnson said.
“To see the #17 Ford Falcon in full Shell Helix livery once again is very special," he added. "I can assure you it brings back great memories and Marcos is the right guy to carry on this long partnership."
30 years and counting
“We are proud to announce a major partnership with Shell Helix and DJR Team Penske," said Roger Penske. "I know Dick and his team has had a relationship with Shell that dates back some 30 years and is one of the longest sports partnerships in Australia. The Penske organization also has a long successful history with Shell."
The Shell Helix DJR Team Penske Ford Falcon FG X will be in action at the Clipsal 500 from the 27th February to 1st March at the Adelaide Parklands circuit.
