James Moffat and Taz Douglas will have a new naming rights sponsor for the Sandown 500, with Mack Trucks stepping up its support for the opening two-drive race of the season.
The relationship with Mack goes back seven years, with the brand supplying Kelly Racing/Nissan Motorsport with trucks since 2009.
“It’s great to have Mack Trucks on the car for the weekend,” said Moffat.
“They’ve been a long-time partner of the team and for them to take up the naming rights opportunity for the weekend is exciting. It’s great to have their support.
“The results haven’t gone Taz and my way in previous years at Sandown, but we are looking to rectify that this year.
“Coming off what we were able to achieve at Bathurst last year we will be hoping for similar if not better results this time around.
“To have Taz back on-board was a priority for me, he does such a solid job and we get on well.
“We are looking forward to this weekend and to putting our best foot forward.”
