Jamie Whincup untouchable in Race Two

Can Jamie Whincup be stopped?

Two races complete, two Red Bull 1-2 results. Jamie Whincup continues to push his way back into the championship conversation with yet another victory in Darwin. Once again, his teammate Craig Lowndes came up a few seconds short. Fabian Coulthard rounded out the podium; his first since Winton earlier this year.

Not much went on during Race Two, with most of the drama unfolding in the opening laps. At the start, championship leader Mark Winterbottom got off the line slow and was instantly swallowed up by the pack. He went from third, all the way back to eighth.

On the second laps, Moffat was forced to exit the race with suspension damage. He was quickly followed by Lee Holdsowrth, who suffered a power steering failure identical to that of his teammate's in Race One.

Mark Winterbottom's points lead continues to shrink as the Red Bull boys launch a fierce assault on Darwin. It's down to just 65 markers now.
