DJR Team Penske will run both of its Fords in Man Truck and Bus colours at Pukekohe this week, while Erebus has secured backing from Loco for Shae Davies's Commodore.
The silver Man livery is a special one for DJR Team Penske, Scott Pye having delivered the team its first podium in the same colours 12 months ago in New Zealand.
The team then ran both of its Fords in Man colours at Sydney Motorsport Park earlier this season, with both Pye and Fabian Coulthard set to run them again this week for the penultimate round of the Supercars season.
It will be the second-last time the team will use its rolling sponsorship scheme, with a full-time deal to run Shell backing in place for next season.
“We are pleased to once again feature the Man Truck and Bus brand on both of our DJR Team Penske Fords at the New Zealand round of the championship,” said DJR Team Penske Managing Director Ryan Story.
“The event last year delivered DJR Team Penske its first podium so it holds a special place for all the team. The Man livery has proved very popular with the fans and the reaction from the Penske Group customers and staff was fantastic. With both cars running Man livery in 2016, we are looking forward to another strong result over the weekend.”
Erebus turns Loco
Erebus, meanwhile, has secured backing from energy drink maker Loco for Shae Davies’s Commodore for the final two rounds of the season.
David Reynolds will also carry minor Loco signage on the #9 Erebus Commodore.
“We welcome Loco back this weekend; they were on board in a small way at the Gold Coast, and they’ve ramped up their support for New Zealand and Sydney, which is fantastic,” Davies said.
“It shows a lot of faith in the team and myself, and we are really looking forward to the next two rounds.”
