V8 Supercar Championship Series team Longhurst Racing sent imprisoned Australian Schapelle Corby a message of support via the windscreen of Max Wilson's Ford Falcon at today's two races at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney.

Team owner and fellow Gold Coaster Tony Longhurst feels very strongly about the plight of Corby who was found guilty of smuggling 4.1kg of marijuana into Bali and on Friday sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Longhurst has taken the step of displaying a banner of support for Corby and her family across the windscreen of the team's car #45

"I feel it is the least I can do, I think the majority of Australians feel for her and her family and anything we can do to rally support must help to get her back home," Longhurst said.

"I had intended taking my family to Bali again within weeks for our annual holiday on the island, I have just today cancelled our booking and never plan to return."
