DJR Team Penske head to Sydney Motorsport Park with a slick black and silver livery.
DJR Team Penske has announced that MAN Truck and Bus will be the naming right partner at Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend in Eastern Creek, New South Wales - the eighth round of 2015.
“This is the third brand in the Penske group to take a naming rights position with the DJR Team Penske Falcon," said Randall Seymore, President of Penske Transportation Group International.
"The MAN Truck and Bus range is a leader in Australia and the ability for us to showcase the brand on the V8 Supercar will be a highlight for 2015. Our guests and staff are very engaged with the race team and we will be welcoming our MAN customers to Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend. The MAN TGX 26-530 is used by the racing team to haul the equipment and race cars around the country for the V8 Supercar Championship, so this is a great connection.”
“The response to our livery changes from the fans and customers has been fantastic this year and I’m sure the MAN livery will create a lot of interest in Sydney," added Ryan Story, DJR Team Penske Managing Director. "This has become an important part of our team’s marketing strategy."
Marcos Ambrose will run the car on Friday in the co-driver only session, and Scott Pye will continue the main driving duties, searching for his first podium of the 2015 season.
