Caruso Nissan given new livery for Newcastle
Michael Caruso will finish the Supercars season with a fresh lick of paint, his factory Nissan set to run a new livery in Newcastle this weekend.
The Nissan Motorsport driver will head to the inaugural Newcastle 500 with backing from Nissan Financial Services, along with Qashqai branding over the windscreen.
“Racing at a brand new circuit with a cracking new Nissan Financial Services livery is pretty exciting,” said Caruso.
“We’ve had a few different colour schemes this season, but I think this is one of the best we’ve had. It looks really tough.
“I can’t wait to get out there, push forward and end the 2017 season on a strong note.”
This is the second livery reveal ahead of Newcastle, with Nick Percat's Brad Jones Racing Commodore set to run Timken backing at the street race.
Caruso heads into the season finale as Nissan's best-placed driver in the Supercars standings, sitting 13th. He could climb as high as 11th, with both Scott Pye and Tim Slade within the 300 points that are an offer.
Newcastle will also determine the championship, with Jamie Whincup and Scott McLaughlin separated by just 30 points.
