</pre> Cat Racing's John Bowe is looking forward to again teaming up with fellow Bathurst winner, Jim Richards, for this weekend's Queensland 500 - both aiming to tackle "unfinished business."

Bowe and Richards performed strongly in last year's event, leading at one stage before a dramatic pit fire severely delayed their assault.

"The fire last year was pretty unlucky but myself, Jim and the whole crew are looking to make amends for last year," Bowe said.

"I really enjoy these kind of races because there are so many more factors involved in being successful than a standard sprint race.

"These events really bring the team to the forefront. The guys in the pits are always important, but this is their chance to play a crucial role in the team¹s fortunes.

"One good pit-stop can make the difference between winning or losing and the strategies involved can be crucial especially when you consider factors like safety cars."

The Cat Racing team recently tested at Queensland Raceway in preparation for the endurance event and Bowe is now looking forward to joining forces with Richards for the second successive year.

"Jim is the ultimate professional and I am certain he will do a great job for us again this year," Bowe said.

"He has dominated proceedings in the GTP Nation's Cup Championship and with his experience, he should be right on the pace straight away."

Having spent the season campaigning a Porsche GT3 production car, Richards is looking forward to climbing back aboard the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar.

"The V8 Supercar championship is very tough but I can't wait to team up with JB again," Richards said.

"John hasn't had the best of luck so far this year, but I am sure we can put up a very strong showing.

"I am really looking forward to working with Cat Racing's new team-manager Alan Heaphy - I had some great success with Alan in the past with Nissan and it will be great to work together again."
