Craig Lowndes and Steven Richards lead as the five-hour mark approaches at Mount Panorama, with a throttle problem costing Jamie Whincup and Paul Dumbrell.
A throttle problem has cost the #1 Commodore the lead of the Bathurst 1000, with a long stop to fix a throttle trace issue resulting in the car now running third.
A new round of stops came as the track dried out around the Lap 102 mark, with David Reynolds emerging with the lead thanks to the #1’s longer stop.
Lowndes then took over the lead from Reynolds on Lap 118, giving him a narrow lead as the race enters its latter stages.
Scott McLaughlin is currently third, with Dumbrell pitting the #1 from P3 on Lap 124 to hand back to Whincup.
Mark Winterbottom has been the story of the stint, having come from nowhere to be fourth. The key was switching to the slicks earlier than everyone else as the track started to dry.
