Pabst Racing has completed its line-up for the upcoming USF2000 championship with the signing of Australian F4 champion Jordan Lloyd.
The 20-year-old already has four weekends of experience in the series, having taken part in last year's Winterfest as well as the first two rounds of the regular season.
He finished seven of his nine races within the top six, including a podium on his debut weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park.
From summer onwards, he focussed on the inaugural Australian F4 championship, which he dominanted, winning 12 out of 21 races.
He will return Mazda Road To Indy with the Road to the World scholarship he received thanks to his title on home soil.
“The atmosphere on the American racing scene is many steps above what I have raced previously,” said Lloyd.
“I also could not be thankful enough for the opportunity from CAMS, the Australian body of motorsport, and of course JAYCO Australia for making it happen.
"Additionally, I need to thank Mark Larkham from the Australian Motorsport Academy for introducing me to the Pabst Racing Team.
“I only touched the tip of the iceberg when I was here in 2015, so on a personal level there is a lot of unfinished business that needs to be tended to."
Lloyd is the third addition to Pabst Racing's lineup, joining sophomores Garth Rickards and Yufeng Luo.
Team owner Augie Pabst added: “We are very much looking forward to the 2016 season and adding Jordan to our already stellar driver line-up will make it possible to have three Pabst drivers on the podium at the same time. We fully expect to make that happen throughout the season.”
