Valvoline "Indiana Sprint Week" has been restored to an eight-race series with today's announcement that an agreement has been reached with Twin Cities Raceway Park owner Terry Eaglin to restore the July 17 race date at the 3/8-mile dirt North Vernon, Ind. facility.

This race is very important to our facility," stated Eaglin, who has completed negotiations to restore the date despite yesterday's original cancellation notice. "I appreciate the significance of this series and its importance to Indiana race fans," added Eaglin. "I'm pleased that USAC was able to allow this race to be restored and to maintain our combined effort to provide race fans with a quality racing program."

The track will host the opening event of the eight-race series which is in its 16th year. National Sprint Car point leader J.J. Yeley is the defending race champion at North Vernon, while Cory Kruseman is the defending champion of Valvoline "Indiana Sprint Week."

Valvoline "Indiana Sprint Week" also includes races July 18 at Gas City I-69 Speedway, July 19 at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, July 20 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, July 23 at Kokomo Speedway, July 24 at Lawrenceburg Speedway, July 25 at Bloomington Speedway and July 26 at the Terre Haute Action Track.
