Tyler Walker of Los Angeles, Calif., who is slated to compete in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2005, gave NASCAR star and Silver Crown car owner Kasey Kahne the team's third straight USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown triumph Saturday night at the Tulsa (Okla.) Fairgrounds Motorplex. He led all 100 laps of the O'Reilly "Tulsa 100" presented by Flowmaster around the 3/4-mile dirt oval in his Curb Records/Brown & Miller Plumbing JEI/Stanton Dodge.

Walker also won at Nazareth, Pa. August 29 and DuQuoin, Ill. September 5 and has now led the last 220 laps of series competition.

After performing his signature back-flip in victory lane, Walker remarked: "The Dodge ran really well. Last year I thought I had a good shot at winning but this year we led it all the way. It was frustrating missing the pole but we got a great start.'

Trailing Walker at the checkered flag were Rich Tobias, Jr., defending race winner Bud Kaeding, pole winner Jay Drake and Jason McCord.

Dave Steele of Tampa, Fla. nearly clinched the series title with his 13th-place finish and leads Kaeding by 53 points going into the Sept. 24-25 "4-Crown Nationals" series finale at Rossburg, Ohio. A total of 66 points are available in the finale.
