Stoops Freightliner Title on the line in Saturday's "Fall Harvest Classic" at Terre Haute.

Tracy Hines of New Castle, Ind. and J.J. Yeley of Phoenix, Ariz. will battle for the USAC Stoops Freightliner Sprint Car Championship Saturday night in the season-ending "Fall Harvest Classic" at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track. Hines leads the defending series champion by 17 points with 72 available at the 1/2-mile dirt track.

Both drivers have 24 "top-10" finishes in 27 starts this year, but Hines has fared better at Terre Haute, with a pair of seconds to Yeley's fifth and seventh. Yeley has six victories this year, while Hines has three but none since May. Each has two career Sprint Car victories at Terre Haute

Practice at Terre Haute gets under way at 5:30 pm, with qualifying scheduled at 6 and racing at 7:30. The feature is 30 laps.

Jon Stanbrough and Cory Kruseman have won the two races at Terre Haute this season, each beating Hines to the checkered flag. Drivers will be aiming at Todd Kane's 1-lap track record of 19.730 seconds, set in 2000, during qualifying.
