HAMILTON LEADS REGIONAL MIDGETS TO BERLIN SEPTEMBER 26; ANDRUSKEVITCH WINS "BOB LOCKARD MEMORIAL"

Kyle Hamilton of Danville, Ind. has a huge lead in the 2009 USAC Regional Midget Series standings and will put a lock on the title September 26 when the series concludes at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich.

Hamilton finished third in Saturday's 40-lap "Bob Lockard Memorial" race at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill., a race won by Aaron Andruskevitch of Riverton, Ill.

Andruskevitch put his Domark Racing Spike/Esslinger Ford in victory lane at Grundy County, leading the final 21 laps. Andruskevitch was also the fastest qualifier. He passed Brian Olson on lap 20 and led the rest of the way to beat Levi Roberts, Hamilton, Olson and Mario Marietta.

Marietta won last year's Regional Midget finale at Marne.
