Hoosier Racing Tire of Lakeville, Ind. will be the Official Tire Supplier to the United States Auto Club for the 2004, 2005 and 2006 racing seasons.

Hoosier Racing Tires will be utilized exclusively on all USAC National, Western and Ford Focus Midget Cars, National and Western pavement Sprint Cars and pavement USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Series cars.

"The United States Auto Club is looking forward to the continuation of this long-standing relationship with Hoosier Tire," said USAC President/CEO Rollie Helmling. "This arrangement will allow USAC to continue to develop and provide USAC racing teams with the highest quality, safest racing tires."

Commenting on the new agreement, Irish Saunders, Open Wheel Asphalt Product Manager for Hoosier Tires, said: "I, along with Hoosier, have been involved with USAC for over 20 years and I am very pleased we will be continuing this relationship in the years to come. Throughout the years, I have seen a lot of do's and don'ts in racing and I see a lot of do's happening with USAC as we head into the future."

Hoosier's Open Wheel Dirt Product Manager Neil Cowman added: "USAC is one of the country's most high-profile open-wheel series and it is a great forum for us to showcase our open competition tires."

The United States Auto Club Valvoline National/Western Sprint Cars and Weld Racing Silver Crown Cars will be permitted to use any USAC-approved tire for racing on dirt tracks.
