Bully Hill Vineyards Announces Title Sponsorship; NY Finger Lakes Winery Continues to Recognize Motorsports Impact
Nazareth, PA (June 3, 2004) -- Bully Hill Vineyards has become the title sponsor for the United States Auto Club (USAC) Weld Racing Silver Crown Series race at Nazareth Speedway this summer. The newly titled Bully Hill Vineyards 100, USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Series will be featured during one of the most-anticipated open-wheel racing events on the East Coast during the Firestone Indy 225 weekend August 27-29.
Bully Hill Vineyards has been actively involved in motorsports sponsorship since 1996 with their initial sponsorship of the NASCAR Featherlite Modified event at Watkins Glen International and current involvement with the Sprint Nationals at a dirt track in Upstate New York. "Nazareth Speedway's location and fan base is a good match for our business plan. Race fans are brand-loyal and we're looking to expanded our wine distribution throughout Pennsylvania," said Lillian Taylor, President and Owner of Bully Hill Vineyards. The Bully Hill Vineyards 100, USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Series will run prior to the featured Firestone Indy 225, IRL IndyCar Series on August 29. The weekend will also feature the National Sprint Car and National Midget Car Series on August 28. Bully Hill Vineyards is located in Hammondsport, N.Y. and the family holds a strong heritage to the Finger Lakes Wine Country dating back as far as 1878.
The Indy Racing League IndyCar Series, returns on August 27-29 in the Firestone Indy 225 and for a final time at Nazareth Speedway and will be celebrating their 100th race for the IRL IndyCar series.
