Two brand-new USAC feature winners emerged from last Wednesday night's Traderindiana.com and Wheels and Deals present USAC "Open Wheel Wednesday" races at the Blossom Chevrolet Indianapolis Speedrome, but eyes will be focused on series point leaders in this Wednesday night's 2004 series finales at the 1/5-mile paved oval.

Sondi Eden of Crawfordsville, Ind. seeks to become USAC's first female driving champion and is on target to do just that, leading the Regional Midget Series standings by 56 over Travis Young going into Wednesday night's program. Sondi finished fifth in last Wednesday's 50-lapper, won by Adam Kramer of Shelbyville, Ind. in his Kramer Motor Company Beast/Gaerte. Kramer led all 50 laps for his first USAC victory, beating Adam Schuyler, Joe Liguori, Travis Young and Eden.

Dakoda Armstrong of New Castle, Ind. holds a 15-point lead over Nick Bohanon in the Kenyon Car standings after winning last Wednesday night's 50-lapper. He led the final 36 laps in his Central Soya/Ted Norris Insurance Kenyon car for his first USAC win, leading Bohanon, A.J. Morgan, Thomas Hennigan and Zach Leeke to the checkered flag. Buddy Lowther and Leeke led early laps before Armstrong moved to the front.

Brice Kenyon of Lebanon, Ind., son of seven-time USAC National Midget Champion Mel Kenyon, hopes to nail down his first USAC title in the Speedrome Ford Focus Series, leading Andy Baber by 16 points going into Wednesday's finale. Kenyon was fourth and Baber fifth in last Wednesday's 50-lapper, won by Travis Young of Franklin, Ind. Young caught early leader John mount on lap 31 and led the final 20 laps in his Matlock Ford Kenyon car to beat Jodi Meyers and Kevin Studley.
