KENYON "SPECIAL EVENT" SUNDAY AT ANDERSON SPEEDWAY; WILSON TAKES 30-LAP SERIES FINALE, HAMILTON TAKES TITLE

Kyle Hamilton of Danville, Ind. is the 2007 USAC Kenyon Midget driving champion. He finished fourth in Sunday's series finale at the Anderson (Ind.) Speedway, which will host a non-points "special event" for he Kenyon Midgets as part of this coming Sunday's program of races featuring the USAC Ford Focus National Championship.

Jacob Wilson of Crawfordsville, Ind. won Sunday's 30-lap race, taking the lead from Ryan Miller on lap 18 and leading the final 12 laps in his Fatheadz.com/Kartshirts.com Yamaha. Miller led the first 18 laps and finished second ahead of Jeff Wimmenauer, Hamilton and fast qualifier Cale Conley.

Blake Fitzpatrick, who missed Saturday's Kenyon prelims but competed in Sunday's Kenyon feature, ended up second in the final series standings.
