KASEY KAHNE RACING SIGNS PARTNERSHIP WITH AUTONET MOBILE
Win a weekend with Kasey at the Brickyard 400
MOORESVILLE, NC (June 25, 2009) -- Kasey Kahne Racing, a USAC and World of Outlaws short track team, announced today the addition of Autonet Mobile to their roster of corporate team sponsors. Autonet Mobile will serve as an associate sponsor on the #49 USAC Sprint & Midget Car Series car driven by Brad Sweet. The 23-year-old California native is one of the top young drivers in USAC, finishing third and eighth in the 2008 USAC Midget Car and Sprint Car standings respectively.
"From a race engineering and operations standpoint, Kasey Kahne Racing makes every effort to stay ahead of the competition, and the Autonet Mobile service allows everyone to stay connected on the road at all times when away from the race shop," said Kahne, a former USAC Midget champion who now drives in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. "Autonet Mobile's Wi-Fi hotspot is in every vehicle we operate, including the race haulers, and even my motor coach at NASCAR races so that I can have internet access and stay connected to Kasey Kahne Racing across the country at a short track race."
To kick-off the sponsorship, Autonet Mobile has launched a consumer promotion sweepstakes until July 4 to win a trip to see Kasey Kahne race at the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 26, 2009. The Grand Prize winner will receive airfare for two, two race tickets, three night's accommodation, and a meet and greet with Kasey Kahne at nearby O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis during the USAC race on July 23.
The runner-up First Prize winner will receive an Autonet Mobile router and three months internet service. The Second Prize winner will receive an autographed Kasey Kahne jacket and die cast car. Consumers can register to win until July 4, 2009 at www.autonetmobilesweeps.com/.
"As a former USAC driver, I spent a lot of years myself on the road racing the likes of Kasey Kahne and wishing our team had the technology to stay connected," said Autonet Mobile Co-Founder and CEO Sterling Pratz. "Now instead of competing with Kasey, Autonet Mobile is partnering with him to deliver that reliable, in-vehicle internet service to keep Kasey Kahne Racing connected on the road and ahead of the competition."
Autonet Mobile is available for purchase at Amazon.com's electronics store (www.amazon.com/electronics), at any Advance Auto Parts location, as a dealer-installed option on any Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Volkswagen Routan or Cadillac CTS vehicle, and at independent auto dealers and specialty and automotive shops nationwide. Monthly service plans start at a flat rate of $29, half the cost of a cell card.
