Neely Does Double Duty for RW Motorsports

ROBINSON, Illinois (August 3, 2006) -- Mat Neely of Robinson, Illinois has added to the list of race cars that he is putting his seat in during the 2006 season, as Neely has been tabbed to pilot the RW Motorsports new-generation United States Auto Club (USAC) K & N Filters pavement Silver Crown Car.

"The RW Motorsports bunch is a great group of guys and I've been working with them all season. When the pavement champ car seat came open, I was very excited that they asked me to drive for him," stated Neely from his home in Robinson, Illinois.

Neely drove for the RW Motorsports team at the famed Hoosier Hundred event that was held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds earlier in the season. He was in contention for a top five finish when he broke a Jacob's ladder, which caused a blown rear tire. He also tested the machine at the O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis last Friday, finishing the day on the top of the speed charts.

"Mat is a driver who is going to keep moving up the motorsports ladder and RW Motorsports is excited to be able to say that we did our part in getting him there," commented team manager, Tony Zarzaca from the Rotondo-Weirich home office in Lederach, Pennsylvania.

The USAC K & N Filters Silver Crown series is in action with the new-generation Silver Crown cars on Thursday, August 3 at the O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis for the Kroger Speedfest and again on Saturday at the historic Terre Haute Action Track for the Sumar Classic.
