Kroger/Tide Hoffman Team to run MOPAR in Sprint and Silver Crown Cars

Loveland Ohio (December 20, 2004) - Hoffman Auto Racing (HAR) is very proud to announce the addition of MOPAR to their 2005 sponsor line up. " We celebrated our 75th anniversary with our 8th USAC National Sprint Car Championship in 2004, and we look for a repeat with great MOPAR power and reliability in 2005", said Richard Hoffman, President of Hoffman Auto Racing". "The addition of MOPAR to our returning sponsors (Kroger, Tide, Bounty, and Pringles) will add more value to all our marketing partners. We now have the opportunity to cross market with our sponsors to the benefit of all. The Team is excited to partner with MOPAR technology and horsepower to win races and Championships in 2005. "

Hoffman Auto Racing (HAR) was founded by August "Gus" (Old Timer) Hoffman when he purchased a Model T Speedster in 1929 and converted it into the Team's first Sprint Car. Little did Gus know that 75 years later his sons Richard and Tom, and his grandsons Rob and Chris would be carrying on the Family tradition of excellence in motorsports.

Highlights of the Team's history include:

1929-1960 Gus campaigned Sprint Cars and Midgets, his drivers included Eddie Sachs, and Don Branson

1964 Gus's son Richard became co-owner of the Team

1973-1984 HAR fielded Indy Cars, including 7 Indy 500 starts

1989 HAR won the first of 8 USAC National Sprint Car Championships with Rob Hoffman as the crew chief('92,'93,'96,'97,'99,'02,'04)

HAR is the winningest Team in USAC Sprint Car history

2003 recognized for excellence by the Ohio State Senate and House of Representatives

Hoffman Auto Racing (HAR) competes in the Sprint Car and Silver Crown Divisions of the United States Auto Club (USAC). HAR is the all time leader in USAC National Sprint Car Team victories with 59, and National Championships with 8. HAR also has 7 Silver Crown victories, for a total of 66 National wins.

Eric Gordon will return to drive the Silver Crown Car in 2005 beginning at the Cooper World 1/29-1/30 in Phoenix. The Sprint Car driver line up will be announced shortly.

Primary sponsorship of HAR continues from Kroger, Tide and now MOPAR with associate sponsorship from Pringles, and Bounty.
