HOFFMAN TO FIELD AN ENTRY IN CONJUNCTION WITH 6 R RACING,
Loveland Ohio ( January 16 ,2006)--Hoffman Auto Racing today is announcing that the Team will participate in the new USAC Silver Crown Series in conjunction with 6R Racing. The car is a 6 R Racing, built by C&R with MOPAR power, driven by USAC veteran Brian Tyler. Primary sponsorship will be with long time Hoffman sponsors Kroger and Tide, associate sponsorship will be from Bounty and Pringles. The Hoffman-6 R contract is for all 9 pavement races and the Hoosier Hundred at the Indy Fairgrounds.

The TV package and the addition of important Kroger markets in Chicago, Kentucky, and Kansas will help us sell more Tide, Bounty, and Pringles at Kroger stores. 6 R Racing is based in Indianapolis Indiana. It consists of 12 local businessmen in Indy, with Darryl Guiducci and Randy Steenbergen as the primary operations officers. "We are happy to be able to team up with Hoffman Racing this year "said Darryl. Mr. Guiducci was a pioneer in the NASACR Truck series and a many year veteran of USAC Silver Crown and Sprint Car racing. Randy is also a long time supporter of USAC racing owning cars driven by Jack Hewitt and many others. His business ,Print Express, also has sponsored many Little 500 winners.
Hoffman Auto Racing (HAR) competes in the Sprint Car and Silver Crown Divisions of the United States Auto Club (USAC). HAR was founded in 1929 by August (Gus) Hoffman. Three generations of Hoffman's are involved with the Team. HAR is the all time leader in USAC National Sprint Car Team victories with 63, and National Championships with 8. HAR also has 7 Silver Crown victories, for a total of 70 National wins. HAR celebrates 77 years of competition this year.
